From India to the Truth
R. M. Duraisamy
The Origin of the Spiritual Turmoil of the Indian People and the Path to Liberation!
An astounding work of Spiritual Truth that will unswervingly lead all earnestly seeking Indian people out of the present world-confusion and towards Spiritual Knowledge, Enlightenment and Ascent!
"From India to the Truth"
The Sphatik Mission
As the hour of twelve resounds in the Cosmic Clock of the World Judgment, a Call goes forth into India and into the rest of the world, calling the Indian Race everywhere to awaken spiritually and fulfil its destiny!
"This book comes at the most crucial turning point in the history of the Indian Race. The “World Judgment”, the end of the “Kali Yuga”, is this turning point, and all cycles of the past must come to a close, revealing the reasons for the past and present spiritual suffering of the Indian people.
At this turning point, many seek answers to the questions of Life, especially in India’s deep and ancient spirituality. Yet, very few are finding, above all, the complete answers to their questions. Instead many gaps and contradictions are discovered, The Truth remains hidden.
This book offers the answers to those very questions, fills those gaps!
The questions of life — why we are here, where we come from, where are we going, what is the purpose of existence, questions about the free will, reincarnation, Karma, advaita and dvaita, God, Truth, the coming into being of Creation and more are discussed in great detail. Deep questions concerning Krishna, Buddha, Rama, the Trimurti Brahma-Vishnu-Shiva and the other revered deities of India, as well as the ultimate question about Jesus and The Promised Avatar, Kalki, are addressed, divested of all dogma and superstition. The Truth about all these matters is finally revealed.
The social questions of the present time are also discussed — marriage and family issues, religious intolerance, the caste system, language issues as well as the corruption and leadership problems that have plagued and continue to plague this nation.
And lastly, the great question: why has India, a former Light- nation, rich in spiritual heritage, had to suffer through centuries of violence and persecution, resulting in its present state, with millions in poverty and the gap between rich and poor ever growing? Why do her people continue to languish under this spiritual corruption? And what was Gandhi’s spiritual mission in this regard? Did he fulfil this mission, or is there still more to be achieved that he must return now in the present time? The answers one will find here, as well as what needs to be done to address this situation.
Therein lies the way to The Truth!"

This book has come about at a crucial turning point in the history of the world and, primarily, of India. This “crucial turning point” is precisely that point in time when the true spiritual state of every nation must come to light. As India has played a major role in shaping the history of the world, so must the spiritual reality of her race also come to light and be revealed for all to see.
This crucial turning point in which we all stand is the time of the “World Judgment”, the end of the Kali Yuga, and during this time the karmaic cycles spanning thousands of years come to a final close, and it is this process that brings everything “to light”.
The following work explains this very process, which is by no means “religious”, as it may sound at first, but is completely scientific, albeit in a spiritual sense! As such, this book is intended for deep and serious seekers of The Truth, especially those who feel a deep connection to India or to her race. This book addresses the great questions of Life, but requires the soil of humility and deep seriousness, whereby preconceived notions and opinions must be excluded from the very outset in order that the seeds of Truth contained in the ensuing pages may properly flourish.
In a simple, scientific and spiritual manner, many explanations are presented that elucidate The Eternal Laws of Creation, and above all show the direct path to Truth. The questions of why we are here, where we come from and are going to, what is the purpose of existence, the free will, reincarnation, Karma, advaitaand dvaita, God, Truth, the coming into being of Creation, etc. are discussed in great detail. Deep questions concerning Krishna, Buddha, Rama, the Trimurti Brahma-Vishnu-Shiva and the other revered deities of India, as well as the ultimate question about Jesus and The Promised Avatar, Kalki, are addressed, divested of all religious dogma, superstition and indoctrination. The Truth about all these matters is finally revealed.
In addition, the main social issues facing India today are discussed from the spiritual perspective, that is, from the viewpoint of The Spiritual Laws, such as marriage and families, religious intolerance, caste system, language issues as well as the corruption and leadership problems that have plagued and continue to plague this nation.
Finally, the deep spiritual reasons for the present suffering in the Indian race are clarified, above all, the reason why, in a nation of over a billion people, the vast majority continue to wallow at unimaginably sub-par levels of existence and why, in a nation that is supposedly perceived as “highly spiritual”, corruption has firmly taken root and now reaches its zenith to the detriment of the whole nation, almost ready to plunge her people into complete destruction. From the point of view of The Law of Karma, the author of this work shows how the present situation has come into being, tracing the roots thereof through India’s spiritual development over the past several millennia, including the advent of Christianity and Islam, and explicitly states what needs to be done to quickly and radically transcend this situation, proceeding from the inner being outwards. Therein is also clarified the spiritual mission of Mohandas K. Gandhi in his work for India and for the world – for it is a mission that was and still is vitally important for the Indian people, if they are ever to attain the True Independence!
If the earnest and deep seeker of The Truth grasps this work in the way that it was meant to be absorbed, faithfully striding through each discourse step by step, then it will be as if a drawbridge were lowered, carefully, slowly, yet surely, on which the seeker of Truth may tread with firmly guided steps, and upon which he may behold in the far distance the shining Light of The Truth. For this work points the way to Perfection, even in the midst of the chaos, corruption and suffering in India, and leads the serious reader to that point where he may find Perfection. It is for this reason that this book bears the title: “FROM INDIA TO THE TRUTH”.

DEDICATION
It is with profound humility and gratitude that I dedicate this work to The Almighty God, my Creator, Lord and Master, Who is The Dispenser of All Mercies! Without His Perfect Guidance, which inspired me over a period of nearly seven years, this work would never have come into existence. Accordingly my thanks and gratitude for His tremendous Love and Merciful Help are due unto Him and Him alone.
I also dedicate this work to all the genuine seekers of The Truth who are of Indian origin or who may feel a distinct spiritual connection with this great race. It is my deepest and most heartfelt prayer that they may be guided to The Recognition of Truth that they so ardently long for.
Most especially among them, this work is dedicated to those who are suffering in soul, who yearn to understand the “whither and whence” of the human spirit and the reasons for all the suffering around them. My prayer is that they may find The Knowledge of The Eternal Laws of Creation and therein the answers to all their burning questions of Truth.
PREFACE
1. WHAT IS THIS BOOK …
When a person picks up a book, especially one of this nature, he wishes to know first of all who wrote it, what are the credentials of the author who has penned the words that fill its pages, what authority, what right this author has to state that which he does therein. The inquisitive mind is not satisfied with the assertions and observations of a “lay person”, but wants to probe deeper so that he may decide whether or not to accept the writing, either wholly or partially. Such seeking is, of course, not restricted to the world of books and book-readers, but can be found in general, every day life, even every day conversation. If I am but a layperson and I express my personal opinion about any particular subject, the listener will judge what I say, whether consciously or subconsciously, according to the qualifications that I bear. If I were a doctor, skilled in the art and science of medicine, and I specifically speak about cures for certain diseases, my opinions are much more likely to be accepted by those around me – especially if they are not as well versed in the subject. The same is true of anyone, regardless of the subject, be it history, politics, philosophy, religion, science, economics or law. But if I hold no external degree or qualification or experience in that respective subject, and if I bear no reputation or renown in the field, then, of course, my opinions or statements will not be as eagerly accepted or heeded. Most likely, I will encounter opposition, dissent and perhaps even hostility when it comes to the most contentious of subjects – race, religion, sexuality etc. Hence, if one were to merely state the slightest word of conviction, which quite naturally does not agree with the prevalent view, one should be prepared to also address the question which is posed in response: “Who do you think you are?”
And this is the question to which I would also have to respond herewith, for only if I can satisfactorily answer this question will the content of this book ever be taken seriously if … if I myself were personally concerned about such an outcome!
But this book that you hold in your hands does not seek a following or consensus. It does not ask to be analysed or debated, does not want to entice adherents in any manner whatsoever. Nor is it written in the conventional style of writing which latter always seeks to “advertise” itself or “allure” the readership without, however, at the same time offering anything of value to the reader.
Instead, in this book a spiritual message is offered to you, the reader, should you choose to take it! And should you wish to leave it aside, this is also your absolute choice, which you are fully entitled to. But every decision has its consequences, this fact is well known to all, even if the consequences may not be seen, perceived or understood. And therefore, you, the reader, at the very outset have to make a choice as to whether or not you will continue to read ahead, for that which you hold in your hands, which you are reading, represents your personal turning point, your decision either to rise upwards, from out of the chaos and confusion of the present time, or to join the masses in the rapidly spiralling descent.
This spiritual message, contained in the pages of the following work, is directed primarily to the people of India, as well as to those whose lives are inextricably linked in one way or another with India, with her diverse religions, beliefs, mindsets, castes and ways of life, and to the Indian race, thus also to those countries that are linked closely with the race itself and the subcontinent, hencePakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka, as well as to those who have emigrated from the subcontinent and settled in various other nations.
To clarify further, however, this message is actually only addressed to the individual reader himself whose destiny is connected in some manner with this ancient land or this race, not to the masses as a whole or as a “collective”, and it serves one and only one purpose: to pave the way for the reader to recognise and understand the true purpose of his own existence, and of his task with respect to India, and to thereupon fulfil it!
2. … AND THE “SPIRITUAL MESSAGE” THEREIN?
Today we are standing in the midst of chaos and disorder. The news is replete with incidents of terrorism, genocides, wars, catastrophes, natural disasters and the like. We are standing in a time like none other on Earth, when there has been such rapid development, expansion of knowledge, and yet such global instability. It is, as many have already noted, the “most exciting time” ever in the history of the human race, and is poised to only get more “exciting” as the future unravels. Yet, in the midst of this ever-developing excitement, there is this inner insecurity, an inner fear. Each person bears within himself, in letters indelibly engraved upon his soul, the deeply serious questions: “How are things to continue in this time? Where are we headed? What should we do to stay afloat?” There is probably no person who has not considered and is still not considering these questions in some form or another. For the facts are obvious, and they stand before us clearly and markedly. Like a blaring trumpet, they sound to us the hour of an impending collapse, that hour when anything that is not sound and secure in itself, that does not bear a solid foundation, will have to fall into ruin.
We are already standing close to this hour; in fact, as the popular expression goes, it is no longer a question of “if”, but merely a question of “when”!
It is these very questions that this book promises to address, if not fully and soundly, then at least thoroughly enough to point the reader to that path which he must follow in order to discover for himself The Truth!
For, yes, this book is primarily concerned with spiritual matters, and therewith The Truth, that is, what really takes place in and around us, in Creation, in Nature, in this Universe, this Solar System, on the Earth and all the way down to the finest, most minute affairs. That is The Truth! And we refer to it as “The Truth”, and not perhaps as “the Truth” or “the truth”, because we choose to accept the symbolism of the “form of the words” used to denote Something so comprehensive, so intangible and abstract and yet so very real, because It comes from a Source, One so Primordial and Eternal, that we can do nothing other than acknowledge It with the greatest reverence and respect possible in our human language.
And all these questions that are troubling the average person of today – where am I headed, why am I here, how can things continue like this in the present time – these are questions that will only find their answers in The Truth, because Truth encompasses everything, the answers to every single question! No question is or will ever remain unanswered in The Truth. It is merely a matter of “finding” The Truth, not just of discovering the way thereto, but of actually grasping It completely, with one’s entire being!
But the path to The Truth has always been riddled with stones and thorns. In many parts of the world, people strive to cover up Truth, to hide It, out of fear that It will reveal far too much for them to be able to deal with. And yet there is also the global struggle to reveal The Truth in all things, to expose all that is wrong, so that the right, The Truth, may emerge quite clearly and freely. This battle between “right” and “wrong” is evident even in the spiritual field. How many of the world-religions, India’s included, desperately try to cover up the gaps and flaws in their teachings can only be quite clearly observed by those who stand outside the limitations imposed by these religions. This is absolutely irrespective of the actual religion itself, because in nearly every case we find the struggle for power, domination and control. Hardly is clear, free thinking to be found among the ranks of the leaders of these religions who establish and maintain the doctrines, while ensuring that their followers do not develop personal thinking for themselves, which latter would undoubtedly lead to an exposure of the flaws in these doctrines.
Now which person can assert that he bears the “earthly” or “mundane” qualifications that entitle him to give these explanations of or about The Truth? And to moreover author a “spiritual message” which is specifically intended for a race of persons with a rich spiritual heritage, who have been a strongly influential people in the development of this entire world?
This “spiritual message”, primarily intended for India, can be concisely stated in just two words:
“Become ennobled!”
Yet, upon reading this statement, every person will immediately say, yes, I know what this means, so why write a whole book on this? We have had our Gandhiji, we have our Swamis and our priests and all of them deliver this same message, even missionaries of different religions have come to our land to preach their various spiritual ideals and notions from abroad, what do you offer that is different?
Yes, they are two words only and the meaning seems to be clear, but they are really of immense significance in their full interpretation for all humanity at this time, and thus also for the Indian race. There is a beautiful Jewish saying, “What is hateful to you, do not to your fellow man. That is the entire Law; all the rest is commentary.” Indeed, that is the very essence of this “spiritual message” cited above. However, in order to fully understand this essence, one must be completely clarified about what it really means for, as another popular saying ironically goes, “the devil is in the details”. Where there is non-recognition, even about the slightest detail, dissent and confusion are bound to arise.
The significance of this “spiritual message”, however, holds the key to the understanding of all the events that have taken place throughout the history of India’s development, including the Islamic invasion of former times, the arrival of the British in India and the ensuing Partition and Independence, the wounds of which all still continue to remain open and bleeding today. These historical events, correctly recognised as being of great portent, often viewed as the “religious migration” into India (or perhaps, depending on one’s point of view, the “religious invasion” of India), have nevertheless not been understood in their greater impact on the present situation in India and thereby also on the imminent future soon to unfold!
For they have not been understood primarily in their spiritual significance, and this is the main point that is lacking in the analyses and debates of various historians, scholars, politicians, economists etc. And this is also the assertion that we dare to make here, and which we will explain in the course of this work. For it all revolves around this “spiritual message”, around these concepts of “ennoblement” and of “Truth”, which many imagine they have fully understood, but have yet to put into practice for the simple and just reason that … they have not understood it!
But before one may be so bold as to state that one “has understood”, thus fully grasped and absorbed the concept of ennoblement, one must also be discerning at levels far beyond what is plainly visible, beyond that which is bound with the physical senses of touch, sight, sound, smell and taste. And by “beyond”, we are not even referring to what metaphysical science classifies as “extrasensory perception” or what the occult refers to as “psychic abilities”. Here it is a question of what really happens in this marvellous state of existence that you and I are living in, and which we can only simply call “Creation”. Hence, we have to, we must first know the “fundamental principles of Creation”, the “absolute explanation” of every process that takes place in Creation. This can also be called the “operating system of the world”, the “Natural Laws of the Universe” or simply and most honourably: “The Laws of Creation”!
Only on that basis can we then begin to explain and understand “what really took place” in India in bygone times, even in the recent past, and from there extrapolate by means of an intuitive intelligence into the future. Logically, there is only one outcome from this entire extrapolative process which you will see threaded through in the pages of this work, and it is an outcome that will be most bitter in its final out-working unless certain key recognitions are made in time by those who have the means in their hands to guide the course of affairs in a different, upward, more ennobled direction!
The present is the sum of all the past events! And the future is the sum of the past and the present. About this, there can be no doubt whatsoever. To understand the present, one must understand the past. And to know the future, thus to be able to “prophesy” in a certain sense, one must know both the past and the present in all their inter-connectedness, in the various intricacies of this complex meshwork of Time. This inter-connectedness cannot be viewed solely from the purely intellectual perspective, but has to be viewed from the all-embracing perspective of those aforementioned “Laws of Creation”. Thus it is nevertheless a scientific process, only it is not just intellectually scientif- ic, it is also spiritually scientific.- Only thereby is it worthy to bear the name “science”, for “science”, as it is defined, seeks to gather knowledge through objective observation and experimenting; science as it is today, however, only does so from the purely mundane viewpoint, focussing solely on those “five physical senses” instead of taking that broader, all-encompassing view from the perspective of “The Laws”.
But only by becoming truly scientific, that is, only by living the true sense of the word “science” from the greater, all-embracing perspective of “The Laws” can we understand the greater purport of what took place in India and its bearing on the present state as well as on the future. No stone can be left unturned in the process, no gap must remain if the picture is to be complete. And only from this perspective can one also finally understand why the call to “become ennobled” goes forth into India now, at this crucial point in time in the twenty-first century.
Naturally, it is my hope that, whether or not the full portent of this book is grasped, at the very least the various chapters thereof will induce reflection among those who are seeking the answers to the many spiritual questions that often arise when one considers the various spiritual teachings that have emerged from or been introduced into India over several centuries and which are now being vigorously spread all over the rest of the world. Certainly not all questions will be answered in these essays, for every reader must use the Knowledge presented before him to paint the picture for himself, which he may then extrapolate to any living happening. Our neighbours in China have a beautiful proverb that also applies to all spiritual endeavours: “Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.” Thus, these essays will certainly lay the foundation for a greater clarification of many Indian spiritual concepts, including those not treated in this work, but the reader must make the effort to discover the clarification, and ultimately the answers to all deep questions of Truth, by himself.
Many of these essays and chapters were originally written and developed quite independently of one another and therefore can, in theory, be considered separately. However, there is also a common thread that runs through and links together many of these discussions which, like individual pieces of a jigsaw puzzle, eventually dovetail into one another to produce a much bigger picture. Thus, the reader must endeavour to follow this thread sequentially as much as he is able to, with his own intuitive perception, for otherwise he will only be “picking and choosing”, which latter will hardly lead to genuine recognition. The step-by-step reading of this work is essential for the true spiritual essence thereof to be assimilated. Also, it must be a gradual process of reading and absorbing, for the work cannot be read as one would read a novel or a contemporary scholarly writing. Here it is a matter of a “spiritual education” which leads the seeker slowly into hitherto uncharted territory.
As for the credentials of this author with regard to his ability to “explain” all of this, a popular expression about the “proof of the pudding” certainly comes to mind, for it is quite evident that in order to write on any of these topics from the perspective of “The Laws of Creation”, one cannot use the qualifications issued by any college, university or religious organisation. Indeed, it is just these qualifications that are absolutely irrelevant, if not obstacles, to the very ability, which is spiritual in nature, not intellectual. Thus, it is left to you, the reader, to experience for yourself, within your inmost being, what unfolds in these pages, to weigh with your inner eyes that which confronts you.
Only therein lies the proof, and therewith also the author’s credentials.
The ability itself, however, is not mine, nor was it ever. I am merely a lens, passing on that which I myself have experienced, which I have seen, received, weighed and examined spiritually, in full accordance with the Mandate and Directive from Above. Thus, I owe whatever abilities I have in my possession, which are not mine in any case but were merely loaned to me, solely to The Primordial Source of All Life, thus to The Supreme One, The Eternal One, Whom I refer to as GOD! Only through HIM do I exist, only because of HIM do I breathe and act. It is HE Whose Command alone I follow in gratitude, and to HIM alone do I lead. Thus, from out of HIM is this Mandate and also this Call to the Indian race going forth now at this time, to “become ennobled”! Ennobled in thought, word and deed and, above all, which is the primary crux of this book, in Spiritual Knowledge, thus Truth!
May the reader thereby perceive The Source of this Call and this Mandate, and therewith receive much help in these troubled times.
